Donate Long Island Shetland Sheepdog Rescue is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization comprised solely of volunteers dedicated to caring for and placing abused, neglected and abandoned Shetland Sheepdogs into permanent and loving homes. We also provide services to owners who can no longer care for their Shelties. It is our mission to provide veterinary care and a loving forever home to any Sheltie in need. Whether homeless, injured, sick, puppy, or senior citizen—all Shetland Sheepdogs have a place at LISSR. You can donate right now to LISSR using either a credit card or through your PayPal account—it’s fast, free, and secure. While you’re at the PayPal site, you can give us any special instructions you have, or you can tell us if you are making this gift in the name of a pet or other family member. Now that LISSR is accredited as a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code, your donations are fully tax-deductible. If you fill in your mailing address while at the PayPal site, we’ll be able to mail you a thank-you note that you can keep with your tax records.
