Mickey

Mickey

Hey there! My name is Mickey and I'm a four year old, adorable Sheltie looking for a home!  I'm neutered and micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all my shots.   I'm crate trained and will let you know when I need to go outside. I'll run up to the door, and give a little "woof!" My foster Mom doesn't keep me in the crate, but leaves the door open so I can go in and snuggle in to nap by myself sometimes.  The corner of the couch works just as well now.

I love to play tug with you, and will fetch a ball for you, too! I'm working on "sit" and "shake" and I'm real smart so I'll get it soon! My foster Mom says I'm playful and friendly and I love to play outside.  I love to sit near you while you read the paper and maybe I could look at the funnies?  I'm very good in the house, and one of my favorite things to do is look out the window and watch the world go by. There are so many things to see!  I walk well on a leash, so if you'd like to go once around the block, I'm there!

I play well with my foster Sheltie step-sisters. I love to give kisses and to be petted and loved.   I'm a cuddler, too, so I would love a home that can give me some lovin’.

The family that gets this little boy is getting a keeper!

Tinkerbelle

Tinkerbelle

Hi!  Please let me introduce myself to you.  My name is Tinkerbelle and I am a three year old, blue merle Shetland Sheepdog.  I am a very small girl, weighing in at almost 10lbs.  My foster mom thinks I'm the cutest little girl around, but don't let my size fool you; there's a big dog with an even bigger heart inside this little body!

I am fully house-trained and I walk well on a leash.  I get along great with other dogs and would love if you had one for me to be friends with.  And don't worry if it's a really big dog because I'm a tough little girl and I can keep up with the biggest dog!  I even like cats, though I'm not too sure the one that lives here likes me too much.  I try to play with her, but she doesn't seem to want anything to do with me.  And speaking of playing, I love to play with toys so I'm going to need a bunch!

I may be a little shy the first couple of days, but as soon as I feel secure, I will be your best friend and follow you all over.  I don't mind older children, but young ones do make me a little nervous.  I'd say over 7 is fine.  I love to snuggle and be pet all the time.  If you feel a little nudge on your hand, that's just me telling you that I'm there and ready to be pet or that I want you to keep petting me!  I had a talk with my foster mom and she says she would keep me in a second because I'm such a good girl, but if she does, she won't be able to foster other Shelties in need.  We both felt that was more important than her keeping me, so lucky for someone else, I'm free and looking for my forever home!

Roxy

Katy

ADOPTED!

Katy is a 6 year old purebred tricolor sheltie looking for a new home.  She bonds very closely to her owner(s) and needs a calm adult home with just one or 2 people. This sweet girl will be a very loyal loving companion in the right home.   Katy will bark when company arrives, but this is a sheltie trait. She knows basic commands, rides well in the car and has had some agility training.  She has some arthritis which keeps her from doing high intensity exercise, but she loves to go for long walks and would make a wonderful companion. Katy has some noise sensitivity that causes her to circle and bark and sometimes get a little worried.  Mostly this is related to clicking type noises. Are you the person Katy is looking for?
